/ per individual receiving this test
A breath alcohol test measures BAC, which reflects the percentage of alcohol in a person’s blood. The concentration of alcohol in the lungs relates to the concentration present in the blood. By using a partition ratio, the BAC can be determined almost instantly from the air a person exhales rather than requiring a blood sample.
